d1x-rebirth software package provides port of the 1995 classic game Descent 1: First Strike, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install d1x-rebirth
d1x-rebirth is installed in your system.
Make ensure the d1x-rebirth package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep d1x-rebirth *
You will get with d1x-rebirth package name, version, architecture and description in a table
